Bear on trail157 viewsOkay, so it isn't snowmobiling season, but it is on the trail. The bear is on the Penn Lake Road access trail. The camera is at the "four corners" intersection, where the 'D' Trail East, 'D' Trail West, Penn Lake Road access trail, and Peninsula Road access trail all meet. In the winter you will occasionaly see a Timber Wolf in this area. Aug. 05, 2005.

Geoff and Paul are trying to decide if it should be fixed, or torched! Luckily they decided to fix the groomer with the help of several of our overworked volunteers.

172 viewsThis is the Highway 17 bridge over the Little Pic River. Don't confuse the Little Pic River with the Pic River, which is to the east of Marathon.

This photo was taken from the trail! The view is from the east side of the river looking towards the west.

The trail on the other side of the river follows the bottom of the rock cliffs on the right (north) side of the hignway bridge. The trail goes up the hill on the right (north) side of the highway bridge.
